Hey Supersmo, wife and I with some "adult" family in tow are going to try and make the TSR tailgate. How can I find you and will you have some room in your cooler for a "donation"?

We plan on crashing the "YOUNG" Alumni party in Midtown then moving to the "PEP RALLY" at Trader Vic's around 8. Not a very far drive. Anyone brave enough to wear a VN name tag?

I see the restaurants and bars listed on page 1. I am going to give you our story so you can tell us the best places to go.

We're a group of 6, ranging from 25-29. We love good beer, good bars, and of course, places the single guys can talk to women of same age group.

We also want to be around other Vol fans.

We like good burgers, good steaks, bacon, and BBQ.

Best places for us to go?

Friday all day and Saturday half the day. We are into indie music, but really like everything. Really, we'd love to find a couple bars that have our age group of people, and really cool local restaurants. I guess the first post in this thread has everything I need

Well Friday I am meeting some out of towners to go to The Vortex Midtown for lunch. If you like burgers, you will love it. Good beer selection too. As for Friday night after the game I would suggest Virginia Highlands, specifically the Darkhorse Tavern. If you want something REALLY fun go to 10High, which is the basement of the Darkhorse, they have live band karaoke there on Friday and Sat. Its awesome, and I usually hate karaoke. Its all live, nothing recorded, full band, full stage show etc. Tons of women there usually too. We might be doing that or might be going straight to Clermont which you definitely need to hit up at some point.

During the day Saturday I would hit up a Taco Mac. All the games will be one, huge beer selection, lots of people.

Me and two friends are in section 327. We'll be leaving Knoxville around noon on Friday and coming back after the game. It's going to be a long day, but should be a good time.
