Official UT vs MSU game thread

I'd give it serious thought. It depends on the coaching situation. New Coach? Fulmer? Why risk getting hurt?

Also, I swear I thought he was a redshirt Sophomore. Maybe I'm wrong on that.

He'd have to transfer to a D2 school, might hurt his stock in the draft.

Eric Berry is not going to transfer. That is just silly. He's playing for one of the most prestigious football schools in the country (though we are certainly not playing like it now), and is still getting plenty of national exposure with games on CBS, ESPN, etc. In fact, he is probably getting more exposure here than anyone else because he is the one bright spot on our team. Plus, by transferring, he would have to sit a year, which would be kind of pointless.

And Berry is a true sophomore- he started the same year I did. Therefore, he has to wait another year before the NFL. I think a lot of what will decide whether he stays for his senior year will be the direction our program is headed at that time...

And kind of off topic but was anyone else at the game when they showed all of the athletes with a 3.0 or better last semester? I could have sworn I saw Rico McCoy on there, and he was one of the academic ineligibles from the bowl game last year... I found that a little humorous...:ermm:

Rico is pretty bright, but he wasnt trying, he put alot of work in on the second semester so he wouldnt have to sit out again
