I think part of the reason why Tenneessee played with Bama in the first half is because Bama lacked the intensity needed to play SEC opponents and Tennessee was prepared. That lack of intensity has been a concern for weeks now. Once Bama turned on the intensity level in the 2nd half, couple with the superior players and coaches, Tennessee had no shot in the 2nd half.
I look at Tennesse roster and I see some good young players and I tell my friends, 3 years from tonight Tennessee/Bama game will be the PREMIER game of the SEC schedule again. I really do think you guys got a good coach in Dooley (anybody who coached for a few years under Saban will eventually be a good coach) but don't on him too much, considering he has to clean up the previous two head coaches (I refused to name both idiots) messes. I do compare your era with Dooley with Bama's era with Shula. Shula only got the Bama job because of daddy, cause he was not prepared for such a fishbowl coaching job. And while he did leave Bama with an average record, his one good season with the two was a product of his players winning despite his incompetence. (Biggest problem for Shula was allowing clicks to formed, and not in the good way).
You guys will see the light soon, just remember at least you're not West Georgia Tigers and "The Criminal" Cam Newton.
PS: RollTideGuy does not represent Bama fans. There are many like me that prefer the UA/UT game to have meaning again. Tennessee playing like Vanderbilt is not how I want the wins. Good luck in the future.
