Official UT vs. Alabama Game Thread

Seems like we are playing this one close to the chest, I like it. Bama is a second half team, we have to be ready for the early storm, weather that and we could stand a legit shot at pulling this one out of our butts.

The real key to the game is our running game keep going with one big td either run or pass. If we can kick a field goal and a td we will be in it at the end. We will not win this game with less than 10 points scored in the second half. Go vols

13-10 at half is great. Man, how many times this season have we said something like that. It gives me hope for the future when UT can play all out for 60 minutes.

I think we have a real shot at this one. It will be a grind and pretty ugly, but I think UT pulls it out.

I think we all are pleased with 13-10 even though I think it could have been better or maybe even worse. I thought Bama was going to come in and embarrass UT. They haven't. And wont.

Go Vols.

Simms' 10 points or Bray's 0? Yeah, tough choice.

The first scoring drive is not due to Simms. It was the run for Moore and then the hole for Poole. An 80 yard run does not mean your QB is good.

Also the reason we didn't spike the ball with 9 seconds left and go for one shot into the endzone is because CDD is scared of Simms and doesn't want another FL moment. That shows there's no faith in him.

An interference penalty and long run for the majority of it, then a drive against prevent? Please.

Bray is the better QB. He might limit our O a little much today, but he will force some defensive honesty.

everything hinges on the first five minutes of the second half.... if they come in a march it down our throats ... all bets are off, if we force them to punt, we are in it

Bray is much more talented. Simms had 1 drive. Buck Fama.

Actually, Simms has had two drives. I don't really see anyone arguing that Simms is more talented than Bray. I think most everyone agrees to that. The debate is if we want to win tonight or play for next year and beyond. Simms gives us the best (I realize it's slim) chance at winning tonight. I want us to take the best shot at winning every time we take the field and especially against Bama.
