Too risky with Simms. Needed the points, throwing to the endzone might have been intercepted.

We had both a player and our head coach mismanage the clock to end the half. Poole had a chance to get out of bounds on that run, and chose not to do so. Then Dooley ran off time rather than take one shot into the endzone.

I'm not pulling for either over the other. Simms needs to be out there right now because we were out of sync with Bray. Bray has more talent, but right now, we are moving the ball better with Simms in there, and we are not out of this game. There's absolutely no reason to pull an Ainge/Clausen with the game still close.
