Official Thread of the LSU game....

Yeah, I'm real proud of how our guys are responding. No doubt LSU has made some plays on us, but our guys have done a fantastic job of coming up with some plays of their own. We still have another half to go,m and you know LSU will really turn it up, and our guys need to respond by doing the same. We have a good chance. Now, we just need to go out, and take advantage of our opportunities.

GO VOLS!!!!!

Crompton and UT have all the momentum. I think Fulmer sticks with Crompton in the 2nd half.

Me thinks LSU has thrown their best at us so far and we took it ugly....but we took it, and we are just figuring things out and looking better each series.....second half will be better for the Vols....Phil is actually giddy at half with Crompton. I still think deeper passing is key, it will open the running game as well. Cut knows this.....

No doubt it's great to have a qb in there that's not afriad to run the ball and get something.

it would make no sense to put a gimpy Ainge back in the game with Crompton showing this kind of magic. But please, let's not start the QB controversy or quarterback rotation thread; I think as soon as Ainge is recovered enough to be effective, it's his team again.

i admit i was worried about crompton playing against LS who. i think that has worked in our favor if LSU wasn't prepared for a running QB

Pretty impressed at the job Cutcliffe has done getting Crompton ready to play as the backup. No small task.

after all, there's no way our backup qb could do any damage against the great 2-loss LSU.
Take that, ESPN!
