What is everyone's take on tonights game? I think if Lofton can contribute and we don't let Glen Davis use and abuse Chism and Crews then we should pull out the W. 12 hours and 18 minutes till tip off. GO VOLS!!!

9o'clock start... ESPN national TV... The roar that will go up when Lofton checks in.... it should be electric tonight!

We find our free throw shooting touch, we win...

Well, I hope we can pull it out...I'll probably be at the arena by 5 or 5:30...don't wanna freeze for nothing.

Really dunno what to think... I watched part of LSU's game against Mississippi State over the weekend and I wasn't really impressed by anything they did. Think since this game is at home, the Vols can win it.

For the student section, it's first come - first serve, so you've gotta get there pretty early to get a front row view. There's no telling how early the students will show up...lately, as a whole, they've only come early for the "big games" and I'm not sure how big they'll all see this one as being.

Plus, I get out of class at 2, gotta do some stuff in the library real quick, grab some dinner...and I'd rather just go down and sit after that instead of going all the way home, all the way back and take a chance at a not-so-great view.

Unfortunately I have never been a student at UT, but I have sat on the front row behind the basket for many a game. I woman I know used to run a concession stand and would get me in the games for free. I would shoot the breeze until right before they opened the student gates and would make my way down and get me a seat right behind the basket and save some seats for my friends. Those were the days.:cray:

I think the LSU fans are mighty disappointed with how their season is going. Once you feel like the team is underachieving, there's a tendency to engage in a little gallows humor, as if the glibness of your comment will make it easier to accept more mediocrity. I've seen it on this board, in fact, with regard to the UT football program. This sort of glum, we suck, attitude, designed I think to make you feel better about what you think might be coming (this comment in relation to '05, not '07, so no screaming at me)..

I notice no one disagreeing. I'm just saying that LSU fans are frustrated and so you see them predicting further gloom and doom.

lower expectations, and be surprised by success or raise expectations and be disapointed....tough choice.

yeah, that sounds about right for us too.:cray:
