And you've cemented yourself as the biggest idiot known to man. How many times have you see Coach Lane Kiffin's name on TV and the newspaper this week and you still cannot spell his name right.

With out Tebow Florida loses this game, you know it and the rest of the nation does too. Last year 5-7 team cam in the #1 ranked team's back yard and hit them in the mouth with out a star at qb.

Better find a new team to jump on next year because your bandwagon ride ends this year.

I was referring to this game specifically, but certainly, Florida does have issues- mainly at WR, where we don't have anyone who has adequately stepped up for Harvin and Murphy. If we don't resolve that soon, Florida will see 8 in the box all season.

Funny, as that's not what all you guys were saying earlier this week. I thought you guys had depth everywhere? And you had three "Percy Harvin" type players behind him? Joke...you guys have only Tebow, that's it..and you were exposed.

great game considering the naitonwide predicitons...if we had won last week we'd be on top the world and probably close to top 25...if not in...

stephens will be back next year...either as the starter or as the second string...since we're rebuilding...shouldn't he take the snaps so he'll be ready for his role next year??

Having depth is not the same thing as having playmakers. That is why I said we need these younger guys to step up or we'll face stiff run D's all year. As for the "Percy Harvin" type players, the one who was referred to as that is out for the year w/ a hamstring injury (Dubose). Nonetheless, we are pretty good. Just not perfect.

Great game for the Vols... we were 30 point dogs. Moral victories suck, but that's what it was. We win in the swamp in 2011 and stand a 50-50 chance or better of winning next year at home.

Get off of Crompton... he is obviously under qualified for the position, but he is doing his best. No need to "hate" him or to express a desire to kill him. It's not his fault Fulmer recruited him... he was a top 5 QB in his class and evidently, Stephens is no better or Kiffin would play him.

We saw how MUCH greater a QB Stephens was than JC last year right? Just face it, we don't have a top-notch QB on this team. JC is the better of the 2 and I don't really care what you think, it is up to the coaches to put who they think is the better QB of the 2. JC didn't play a HORRIBLE game today. He managed the game pretty well today actually. Both INTs came on GREAT plays by their DBs. The first was good speed catching up on the throw and on the second one, the DB was beat, but the safety came over the top and made one hell of a play. DON'T put this one on Crompton. We played inspired football in EVERY phase of the game today. I am extremely proud of our VOLS and anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy. GO BIG ORANGE!!!!

6) You obviously have NO CLUE what you are talking about. 1, true. 2, no way. Our defensive pressure is what led to the mistakes. Sure, the game could have gotten out of hand but CMK and our D didn't let that happen. 3, true. 4, you, sir are an idiot. That was a well-coached game in every aspect on the UT sidelines. 5, Crompton isn't great, but we simply DO NOT have a top-notch QB on this team. He is the best we have and we gotta stick with him.

No problem. I only came on here today to see what you Vols were thinking about the game. I thought it would be close in the first half b/c of Monte's D, but then we'd gradually wear you down and open it up (which is about how it played out until Tebow's fumble). If you were seeing a lot of nasty comments this week, believe me- it was inspired by your coach, not the UT program or fans, which most Gators respect.

That's exactly what I was expecting too, but I also thought FL would eventually kill us with a big play. I was surprised that we never got beat down the field.

I was surprised too that Florida didn't stretch the field, but that was largely due to Monte's blitzes and the fact that no one was open. We have a lot of fast young receivers, but the two best playmakers (Debose and Thompson) were out due to injuries- Debose for the season. The other receivers we have are either inexperienced, or possession type guys (Riley Cooper and David Nelson). Florida has all the other pieces for a NC, but definitely have issues at WR that need to be fixed.

Also, FWIW, Meyer said in postgame interview that some of the players had the flu- Demps had a 101 degree temp prior to kickoff.

Excuses are just like A**holes we all have them and they all stink. The Gator trolls coming in here and saying they had key players sick and that it was about to get ugly but Tebow fumbled...blah blah blah. Attention Gators you have been put on notice. Every team you will face will be reviewing the game today on stopping the Meyer spread. It will result in a loss very soon for you guys, mark it down!
