If I'm Pearl, I start Bone in the second half over Scotty. His defense is loads better and he doesn't make stupid mistakes on offense.

it was terrible defense - the guy doesn't know what he's talking about - Buford and Simmons got a million wide open looks from 3. The ones Simmons had were inexcusable.

I'm not worried about Turner as long as CBP keeps switching his defenders. Wall didn't do too much to us until we started focusing on Bledsoe's 3 point shooting... Then he drove the lane every trip. Keep the defensive scheme. They can't shoot that well the whole game, and if we start focusing on their 3 point shooting then Turner will put on a clinic.

i don't think we have the 1-3-1 solved at all yet. it was smart of matta to go to man after we have a couple good possessions versus the 1-3-1. he'll go to it again and stick with it at some point below the 10 min mark in the 2nd. we have to attack that thing and not stand around.

The Vols have done an excellent job on defense, but OSU is shooting the lights out. Best of all our 11 substitutions and drives to the basket. If OSU starts to foul, it could become interesting.

UT beat themselves in the first half with missed easy shots and catching passes stone handed. I think they should be fine in the second half. be a little more smooth and fast in transition. A lot was left on the table in the first half but i feel good about the secong half show down. OSU can shoot. they will have a high percentage shooting but UT can dominate by getting their game in full swing.

We need Lighty and Buford in foul trouble....and keep a hand in Diebler's face. He's been money uncontested. Turner can get his but if we keep playing like this with a less aggressive Lighty/Buford they're in trouble.

they haven't been rotating players all year. they are well conditioned and will keep playing at the same intensity. this is the big dance. you don't get tired in a battle like this.

proud of the vols,
gotta get better at defending outside shot.
good inside play.
more pressure.
get more physical, the fouls suck, but OSu is not physical,
we're wearing them out.

Nobody on OSU can guard Maze on the high screen...I would love to see more of that in the 2nd half, but instead of Williams, have Chism set the screen and then step out to the 3 point line or cut to the basket...Maze is too fast for anyone on their team.

Interesting stats....

OSU lack of depth has accounted for 13 points between two players...Simmons has 9 points in 14 minutes for Lighty and Madsen has 4 points in 4 minutes of action...

Turner, Buford and Diebler played all 20 minutes in the first half....

Tennessee has 16 points from their bench and have played 10 players with nobody playing over 17 minutes...

Were containing Diebler, and Turner is getting his points like I thought he would but the refs are calling this one kind of tight we need to play better defense the offense is there.

Defense has been a complete joke. Has Lauderdale been in position to help out once? Has anybody fought through a screen to get a hand up on a 3? Lighty went to the bench and these guys didn't make a good defensive play the rest of the half.

If Turner gets it going and Diebler wakes up they are in pretty good shape. Felt like they were completely outplayed, but Simmons bailed them out with a surprise 9.

Like I stated I think this is Tennessee at it's best. I think if OSU comes out focused UT is in trouble.

Bucks MUST play better D the second half, they won't be able to outscore this team. With Turner and Diebler being off and a lead, amazing, way to go team.

I don't think OSU will cool off that much - they just have so many weapons - just hard to see it unless we get another one of em in foul trouble. We just gotta limit the second chance points.
