Given that situation, I think we've got a great shot in the second half. We just can't foul too much. We're going to be a lot fresher going into the second half, it should start showing up as the game wears on. Hopefully that will work well for us - that and hopefully they don't shoot lights out from 3..I'm not too worried about Turner getting his, but we've gotta stop letting them shoot lights out from three.

if we game planned correctly they should never have as many open looks for 3.

there game is turner dribble penetration and kick to the open man when the d collapses, hence, stop the drives and their offense follows

Err, OSU is one of the most efficient offensive teams in the country. They have like five knockdown three point shooters and Turner to create havoc and get it to them. I know they don't run much, but why do you say their offense is pedestrian?

I agree about the threes. Most of Ohio State's points are coming from outside the paint. If we just guard aggressively on the perimeter and play smart on offense, we can pull this out.

Overall, I'm happy with the way our guys are playing. Gah, why can't Scotty join the party?!?! Bone is doing an awesome job at defending that backdoor cut. Chism is rebounding like mad. Prince and Maze are driving to the basket well. OSU is just knocking down shots like crazy. Bruce doesn't need to change much for the 2nd half. Keep keying on Turner, cuz he's going to be the deciding factor in a close game.

I had to sign up and finally post just for this game. Been wearing UT all day and been warning Buckeye fans to look in front of them and not past us. I've heard local media this morning saying "it's less than 72 hours from knowing if the Buckeyes are in the Final Four." Why not less than 12 hours of knowing if they're still alive?

I wouldn't put too much stock in Ohio St. wearing down. They've been playing 6 deep all year without any problems.

I said earlier today at work that UT and OSU will be neck and neck until the 7-8 minute mark then UT will start running with it.

Prince has carried alot of the scoring weight. Chism and Hopson need to wake up. We get those two going we would be dominating.

Williams' hands are the worst in college basketball.

B Maze, Bone, and Goins have played decently. But they need to find away to get the ball in more to Chism and Hall. Those guys are working hard in the paint, but aren't getting many touches.

Our defense has been pretty solid, but we have let some wide open threes develope.

I think the fast pace is what we should keep doing.

Overall, im not too pleased but I like the energy and toughness we're showing. Heres hoping we come out and run them over. Go Big Orange!

OSU 55% from 3 point land..... They are not going to shoot that well the entire game, I hope.....

OSU has gotten some garbage points with wild rebounds.....

I hope UT starts feeding Chism in the paint!

I'd say the first 5 min was pretty terrible. I will take this halftime score, think its gonna go down to the wire. go vols.

OSU will have to wear down in the 2nd half. Not rotating players and us throwing fresh bodies at them all night will make a huge difference. I like the intensity we are bringing on D even though we have given up some easy 3's. Offensively if we can keep taking it to the rim we will win the game especially if Chism can come alive.

OSU shot 55%, how is that not bad defense, especially when your strength is 3pt shooting defense? But if you su that wasn't ba then so be it, I won pretend to know tour team better than you.

IMO....the "Regal Whistle" is the reason the SuckEyes are in it.....we're running them to death and then a tweet from a ref to slow up the pace and let them suck in some quick wind. If the pace continues in the 2nd half....I like our chances.
