Well it's up to Pat now to increase our NC banners to 8. Go LAdy Vols! Ya know she called Bruce before the last game, it looked like Fulmer must have called tonight.

I'm as disappointed as the next person, but it takes a total loser to dump on the players and the coach who got us to the postseason in the first place just because they had a bad game.

If a troll came in and posted the stuff some of you are posting, you'd go ballistic. Negavols suck.

we just don't play very smart and eventually that is going to cost you....as it did in a big way tonight

I worry about this some as well (mainly because I just don't see someone stepping up to replace Chris/JaJuan)...we really need to land Scotty Hopson. What will this team look like next year..it seems like we are going to totally have to change up our style... I wouldn't say back to the normal TN...unless you mean normal under Bruce Pearl...which isn't bad. But, it's hard to imagine how we are going to do what we did this year. Will Scotty make the difference if we land him?

But looking back weve been nothing but a joke. We get in the big game and we act weve never been there. We'll beat a team 88-86, then turnaround and beat a team 55-53. 2nites loss was nuthin but a joke. L'ville is not 19 pts betta than we are. It seems like every game, either JuJuan, Lofton, or Tyler has had to bail us out. And when those 3 dont hit 1 game, no one wants to step up and make a shot. I really think we are the best team in the nation, ON PAPER. But paper does not win games. You would think after last year's loss, they would have been hyped up, but no. This was by far, the best most athletic TN team weve had and looked how we finished. I hope we enjoyed our season this year, cuz next year, its back to the normal TN.

As usual, UT got hosed by the refs, but L'ville still outplayed UT big time, especially down low. UT needs to recruit some size and physical players, and quit relying on finesse and 3s.

Even the great Bruce Pearl can't change the fortunes of Tennessee basketball in the tournament. Worst game in 3 years, terrible decisions on offense and the d was just plain stupid. Repeteadly beat on back screens for dunks and easy lay-ups. I can't believe this team got their butt kicked by Louisville. What makes it worse, almost the whole nation was watching us lay another dud in the tournament. The Memphis game was the best we will ever see.
With that being said, it was a great year, one to remember. Thanks to Chris and JuJuan for great careers. They just couldn't change the Tennessee jinx in the NCAA tournament. I still can't believe we got our butts handed to us for the world to see. I can't believe Pearl didn't have any answers for the dreadful offense in the tournament.

I would really like to hear some conversation about this. I don't know as much about basketball as I would like to...so that conversation could benefit me for sure. With Wayne improving and Tyler being Tyler, I like that part of our game, especially if West turns out to be an efficient PG (or if Ramar gets his head out of his rear). However, what about the guard situation. Is it all down to landing Hopson, or do we expect a very different style of ball? I suppose we will actually have a center next year?

Louisville was a much better team tonight and a congrats to them. This Tennessee team hasn't looked the part since the Memphis game.

Next year, we'll have a two-guard lineup. No more 3-guard lineups. That is clear from a quick look at next year's personnel. And, hopefully, Scotty views himself as the man to take us to the next level.
