Have you finished the Single Player campaign? If so, how long was it? Is there enough content to warrant the price tag? It's $50 on Amazon and you can currently get the CE from Best Buy for $60(both online and in stores). Something tells me this one will be below $40 pretty quickly.

Campaign is short..around 8 hrs on Realistic mode. The bread and butter on this one is the deniable ops mode...co op mode has 4 more missions but the Hunter mode in deniable ops is where you will put many hrs in.

Thank you sir. Think I'll be holding off on this one till it drops to $40, which shouldn't take long at all. I should still end up getting it before Red Dead Redemption releases.

Too bad they didn't put in Spies vs Mercs, still looking forward to playing the co-operative modes. I also like that they added PEC.

Here's some more info on the game...add me as a friend if you want to play some co op sometime..prolly not many here will pick this up anyway..

i'll play it eventually just haven't gotten around it......probably will just be a rental, though. i was realy underimpressed with the demo so hopefully it ends up being alot better than that.

finally rented this a few days ago. i'm going to be honest.....i'm just not having that much fun with it. i'm at the carnival level currently and it just doesn't feel like the usual classic splinter cell games. i feel like they've revamped the entire game and done away with way too much of the stealth aspect and replaced it with run n' gun. don't know if i'll finish it or not. with as much as i've liked the series i'd like to complete it, but this one's just been pretty dissapointing to me so far.

I beat it yesterday & I agree with you, Duckman. This is not a Splinter Cell game.

They should have just slapped a different title on it and packaged it as a new game. If would have been good if it didn't say Splinter Cell on the cover.

that's putting it very lightly. ubisoft completely strayed away from what made splinter cell so fun in this game. i know i've already "ranted" about it, but i was just really let down by this installment for as long as it was in development. i actually never got around to beating it. i got near the very end and had to quit because my schedule got kind of hectic. i'll probably eventually get around to completing it just for the sake of it being a splinter cell title and i want to know how it ends. but after that, it's immediately going back to the return bin.

I'm just now getting around to playing it, and so far I'm actually liking it. Which is surprising since I hated the demo.

I didn't like the demo the first time I played it. I gave it another chance and ended up buying the game. I really enjoyed it.
