Official Selection Sunday Thread

Apparently there's still a lot of disagreement. If that is their intention, they probably shouldn't label these games "play-in" games.

The real question here is if the games make the tourney contest brackets... :)

Will someone please take the time to explain to me the "play in" system. In my mind, it should be for those in the lowest seeds, those who were the last to get in. Not quite sure why we are playing Iowa when there are teams ranked below us not having to play in. Thanks in advance.

It doesn't really matter to me what anyone else calls it, to me it is a play in game, simple as that the tournament will always be 64 teams to me. The only reason for the "play in game" is money. Tennessee is not in the 64 yet if they win the "Play In Game" then they are in.

Just shows we were really in the last 4 in.

Well I will say this about CCM - I think he is a mediocre coach on his best day.... I feel like he is a con man for taking 1.5 mill a year from the University for his results on the court - specifically barely eking out one NCAA play-in game in three years. Pearl was and is many times the coach that CCM will ever be.......
