Official SEC Championship Game Thread

Bad thing was the one point was good enough to win the game LSU's offense did squat in the 2nd half. Jesus Ainge what were you thinking with a safety creeping on a WR like that. God i'm so frustrated!!!!!!!!

Tennessee will not be an elite program again for many, many years.

I'm really not sure why you say that. We have very few seniors on this team. Foster is only a Junior. Mayo is only a junior (though we might lose him). Berry is one of the oustanding talents I've seen. The WRs should pick it up. Looking forward to seeing more of Jones. Crompton was a top recruit, and I'm curious to see him play.

You may be right, but I'm just not seeing all that many negatives on the horizon.

Unfreaking believable. He's a senior. He should make better decisions and plays at this point. Not only did he make mistakes he shouldn't have, he made them at the worst possible time and worst possible position on the field.

I feel like the playcalling was poor.

IMO play calling was bad at times but not 100% bad. We didn;t execute when we needed to with missed receivers and dropped balls. That happens with kids. I hate it more than anyone but they defintely tried to make changes to the overall strategy and mostly changes people on this board have recommended. I can't complain.

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like how Less Miles couldn't just be happy that they won but instead had to remind everyone that his key players were on the bench. He better be glad he gets the talent there because he is a $hitty coach and LSU was the real loser when he decided to stay.

Man, this game was really disappointing. We had this game and gave it away. Our defense played the best game of the year. Some questionable calls by Cutcliffe and horrible passes by Ainge lost us the game.

A selling point for our O-line all year has been low sacs on Ainge, maybe 3-4 all year. But if you watched, he was in a self defense mode too many times where he bailed out on a play too early and never gave himself a chance to recover or make that special play.....which may have required taking a hit or two. I am worried that he cannot take the pressure in the Pros, he may be just a taller version of Heath Shuler.....panic-panic-panic and go blind.

We've skated by all year on offense and it cuaght up to us tonight. D played a solid game, the O thought they'd just waltz right in at the end and win it, and they could have if it hadn't been for those two dang interceptions.

All he did right this season went up in smoke in the Dome.

no kidding. it's sad to see it end this way. and a bowl win will not do it justice. ainge probably just solidified himself to be the least popular qb that ut has had in the past 17-18 years in alot of people's book.

The most solid part of our team, Offense and kicking game went in the crapper. Special teams and Defense were awful at the beginning of the year but played very well. I know I am stating the obvious.
