Why did CBS do this? I guess they don't want to break into the BIG 12 Dr. Pepper game, but what's the big deal?

The SEC is the bigger game anyays. It's hard to watch a big SEC game at 4pm. Regular season game, fine, but not the championship. Should be a night game!
