I have very simple rules for keeping me happy.
1) whatever you do to my daughter, I will do to you (think about that for a bit)
2) Anything resembling sex will get your wang chopped off with my 2 Iron
3) I dont care if you think she wanted it, she isnt smart enough to know better, or she would be dating someone else.
d) Dad is always right

My oldest daughter has dated 2 guys. I got along with both of them until she broke up with them. She broke up with both of them for the same reason, pressure to do something she knew she shouldnt be doing. When they start that sheet, they are on my bad side.

Youngest daughter is the problem child. I have run off a couple jerks. She needs to have her head checked, picks guys like her mother used to....sigh....yeah, I know what that means....

Anyways, Oldest is an adult. I cant control anything there. Good dudes will be treated accordingly. Jerks will be treated accordingly. She is smart enough to avoid the jerk. So, when she dates, and she is avoiding that til she is done being a college athlete, she will be very picky.

Youngest is about to be a very visible music personality. She needs to be MUCH more careful. We are working on that

That is exactly how we approached it. The consequences are far beyond what they can think of on their own.

EDIT: still not old enough. Check back with her after vet school. Just a warning: She kinda has a thing for Kirk Cousins. She has set the bar kinda high

If she's old enough to legally drink she's old enough. :)

Age/2+7=old enough.
