Williamson Co schools have a great rep these days. I'm hearing friends who have kids at Ravenwood getting schollys to UT, Bama, Ole Miss, Miss St, etc.. Sadly most people in Davidson Co that can are sending their kids to private schools. Lipscomb is booming with new kids.Wife wants to move to franklin so somewhere out there

I had one go to Binkley, Rose Park, McMurray, and Overton. Another went to Binkley, Croft, then Nash School for the Arts. When the oldest got out of Overton I knew that was it for that school. School of the Arts was a bit better. My youngest is at Lipscomb and I couldn't be happier.I went to Granberry, McMurray and Overton and I would never send my kid to Davidson Co schools

I am but its only one reason my kids there. a)Cheaper than the others that are near by (Franklin Rd Academy, Oak Hill, Father Ryan, Brentwood Academy). b) Really close - I can get there in about 5 minutes. You COC?
TN schools must sook bad. I like my kid being in public school just fine in NC. You got to manage em one day mine as well learn how to play with them first.

LA (it changed its name to Lipscomb Academy) has loosened up a bit in the past years and while a good amount of students are coc there are many from other religions. Sou Baptist make up the next biggest population then there are Methodist and even catholics I can remember off the top of my head. It isn't just the school - the university is the same. Still keeps their core values but its not a requirement to be a coc. They are very involved in the community and city. You'd never know its a coc school unless you looked it up.
