First off, no I had no clue who you were. Honestly didn't know. But our offense looked terrible today. I think that is obvious. You went out there and gave everything you had. I appreciate that. Today we didn't. I want to. Win as badly as anyone and we gave it away. If I get flamed for that, so be it. Like I said, thank you for all you gave us. But we looked terrible today.

As it stands the only thing that impresses me about the Jones regime is the recruiting. How essential is Bajakian to recruiting? If the answer is "very" then I don't see how you can call for his ouster unless you're also ready for a new hfc.

I must agree, the defense played their hearts out..... I am torn.. I know we all deal with this but seriously.. to work an average job.. to go home.. deal with the kids.. day in.. day out.... to listen to Momma discuss the bills!! For an entire year.. and all I say is "will not be long before we play the Gators.... just a few more months!"..... it can be slightly disheartening when we go into a game and toss it away... all I have now is.. 365 days until we play these idiots again... :crazy:

First of all, this is the official rant meltdown thread, so I am not sure what you expected to read here.

Attendance is the only voice the fan base has. The performance today by that offensive coaching staff was absurdly horrible. Horrible.

There have been two games since CBJ has been here that a win was obtainable and had the ability to springboard the program. Vandy last year would have gotten them to a bowl. Today could have pointed the team toward a 7-8 win season, and validated all of the hype and energy that has been building this season.

In both instances, the coaching was absolutely horrible.

I hope most of these posts are by younger guys that just haven't learned how to keep emotions in check. At least you know they really care if the team loses. I used to be the same way. I will always love the Vols but I've had my heart broken quite a few times, today included. I"m refraining from any criticism of the team and coaches and just trying to get over this one. #34, you are one of the best.

This. We can't win the one on one match ups up front. Even when teams play nickel and we face a 6 man front, we can't run the ball.

We can scream to fire the OC all day long, but the fact is, if we can't run the ball when the defense give us a run look, we don't deserve to beat Karns HS.

Did not get to watch the game but I saw the score. How can we score 32 vs GA. and 9 today at home? I think we have made a Big East mistake at 3.2 million dollars a year. Time for Butch and staff to nut up! This had to be the worse gator team in years but they beat us again. Maybe and a big maybe, 2 SEC wins this year. God, we are right down there with KY and Vandy. UT football has reached unknown depths. :banghead2:

Just because I replied to Mr Stephens does not change the fact our offense was putrid. I'm sorry, I post occasionally I don't personally know who these people are in real life.

Do you think our current OC is good?

I honestly think in your heart you do not.

The players are giving it everything, but the OC is not.

Butch not going on 4th down on the 35 was also not good.

I appreciate what you did for UT football but our current OC is a joke.

Worley is a READ option QB and never runs. Wouldn't that bother you?

Emotions are high-- but the criticism is justified and the concern is valid. UT has become the punch line of college football. We lose to rivals in spectacularly incompetent fashion year after year after year. It's humiliating how the team inexplicably falls apart when it matters most. It's more than youth and inexperience. And Dooley is gone now.

Major props to our defense! They play hard each and every snap. I thought coach Jones was an offensive guy. What's up with that? No innovation on offense today. I saw us line up in the wildcat one time and we were penalized on the play. These are the things you look at. The reason why Malzahn is so good is because he keeps people guessing. You can neutralize some of the offensive woes with motion. Again, no creativety for a team that runs the spread.

I guess maybe I am the only person who didn't know who VFL34 (Travis Stephens) was on here. I'm not sure how I would have known unless I posted more. I've given him My apologies. Damn VFL right there. That was a dumb post by me. I own it. But I still stand by my premise that this offense underperformed today. If you can't see that, then I agree to disagree with you. You have every right to your opinion.

No matter the coaches, no matter the players, no matter the records, we continue to beat ourselves when we play Fla. I just do not understand. So many opportunities. It shouldn't have even been close.
