You guys have to come to grips with the fact that Fulmer is very much a part of the UT legacy from here on out. His name and his contributions are not going away. Hate that for ya...

Sounds like he is now a Tennessee man for life. I was scared at first he would just bolt back for the NFL after 5-8 seasons.

He didn't look all that good giving a formal speech but every now and then he would get fired up and blackout on a subject when he was eager to address it. He looks like he is going to be a fiery speaker in the locker room though when he can pace the room and get in the players faces. Did the pc cut off on everyone after he took those shots at al davis or just on espnews? They didn't let him give a closing comment or anything, they just cut the coference off right in the niddle of questions.

I was excited to see his eagerness and initiative to get started with the program. Any quotes stand out to anyone else besides the shots at davis?
I liked how he was quick to assure us (the web board faithful) and the fans that we would get a good coaching staff. Hopefully that means Monte and Orge are coming as well. The comment about leaving the pc to go straight to the plane to recruit in memphis was good. The solid minute rant about out working the competition was great. Not to mention to prediction of singing rocky top after beating florida. I was happy to hear him emphasize that the best, not the oldest, players will see the field, and that there were going to be very ohysical practices.
