Going to be the McRae show this season.
Starting the season STRONGER and with Confidence.
Could be unstoppable from the first buzzer.
IF they start with a road win over Xavier, LOOK OUT!

Been saying that about Xavier for the past couple months, I just think its an absolutely HUGE game. It's as close to a must win game in November that you can have IMO.

We win that game and the road monkey that has plagued Martin coached teams is quickly disposed of. It gives confidence to this squad, and with confidence there's no telling what they could do. Lose the Xavier game and I think you're looking around the 21-22 win mark, win that game and I think you're looking at 25-26 wins.

I'm bored so I might as well post one. Isn't B4A a double elimination similar to Maui? So we could lose the second round and win our third game right? Feel free to argue anyone of these :)

I try to joke when I can :birgits_giggle:. We're going to win that game but it wouldn't be the first time we lost an exhibition game with a fleet of talent. Pearl lost two exhibitions, one to Indianapolis during his last year, and one to Pezinok BK in 2007.

I like your thinking. I think Xavier will be good just have to see the matchups. What do you see from UConn?

I keep trying to temper my expectations for this team but then I look at our roster and think about how well we played during the second half of the SEC schedule and the year before when we played well to close with Jeronne and Stokes together.

We've got a SEC POY candidate in McRae, one of the best front court duos in the country, added a 5* freshman guard, hopefully some consistency and toughness in the PG position which has been sorely lacking and then you throw in JRich who looks to continue improving. Thompson and Moore will provide solid back up minutes.

Hard not to be excited, especially if we see improvement from individuals and the team gels quickly.

But I definetly think we would have had a better road record with a more consistant pg. Not to throw Trae under the bus, but dude was just flat out non-existent if he wasn't scoring. IMO Not to mention he was a liability on defense, and has questionable stamina for a guard.

I think our record will already be substantially better without Kenny and Skylar. They were casualties we couldn't afford to have, they costed us turnovers and missed shots. We now replace them with Robert Hubbs, who will already be a better player than Skylar and AJ Davis to replace Kenny Hall. I honestly think we could have won more games without Skylar/Kenny. Just thinking about our roster depth gives me the chills.

I think we get to the sweet 16. I think we may end up 2nd or 3rd in the sec with a shot at first.

No more than 5 regular season loss. No tournament prediction to without seeding, match up and style of play.
