Official Orange & White Game Thread

I can't believe anyone could be disappointed about a spring game. It's a glorified practice that they try hard to make entertaining for the fans. I think they do a pretty good job. I don't know what else you would expect.

Butch, "still need some depth, we are not there yet". Some of us have been trying to tell you guys that. keep it in mind when the season rolls around.

FL had worse overall depth than UT last yr and made it to ATL. TN coaches and some fans are the only ones I hear excuses from. Must get out of that loser mentality

Lack of depth didnt lose to OK and FL last yr. That's what I saw

If our team is mostly healthy then they should be in ATL this yr.

Maybe Ludacris concert be4? Nvm that's georgia

So it goes to a commercial and then comes back and it's over?

Waste of time, worst spring game I've ever seen.

That was weird, they go to commercial with over 6:00 left, and come back and it's over.

I know they're showing about 4 today so they probably are kept to a strict 2 hour window, but still, that was pretty bad TV work.

The TV work was terrible. It would have been nice to see the deep ball to P Will.

Did any of you watch Kentucky's spring game? It was more "traditional" and I was bored as hell. When you have players specified as no contact it's a little difficult to have a normal game experience. I didn't mind the format we had.

While he did win more SEC titles in the end he ruined 2 of our best shots at a national title in 97 and 99. We returned the favor and ruined 2 of his best shots in 01 and 13.

I'd argue that the loss to Arkansas more ruined our title shot in 1999.

(Granted, since both FSU and Virginia Tech went into that BCS title game undefeated, UT would have still been on the outside of the Sugar Bowl looking in.)

And he's full of ish too if he was being sincere.

This team is loaded with upperclassmen. We return the second most starters in the SEC behind LSU and the most in the SEC East. Youll not see one true freshman playing any significant time outside of helping on special teams. We have juniors and seniors all over the place leading this team. Doubt you'll find a more tenured team in the SEC, perhaps the country. It's year FOUR....the young and inexperienced crap don't work anymore.

Honestly they're all kinda boring when you get past the inital novelty of it.
