It isn't a bad idea... I know I use it on my defense because it gives you a DE/OLB hybrid ability to rush the passer... Especially if you have some good ones like Taylor and now
Coming in now Gray... Gives you some flexibility in pass coverage as well... Also with how much Shoop likes to blitz it will give him some flexibility... I don't think it will be our base just will see more of it...

I think Phillips is a great DE fit for it and Taylor a great OLB for it... As well as Kirkland JR in that Mike or Buck position...

I will say that I think we addressed a key issue with this class which was the secondary. Good young players and a darn good CB coach.
