Paul Finebaum just said that after Alabama, Tennessee has most impressive class and that they were on their way to National Championship consideration. LOL... I had to do a double-take to make sure that it was Paul.

Paul's not as bad as some think. It just looked bad after we lost to Georgia when Vols fans were calling his show saying we were going 10-2. He laughed at them saying the Vols were better, but SLOW down. He was right and I think he stays rather objective for the most part. he's been giving Butch a lot of accolades.

When you look at needs being met I think I would have to agree with him. And this is full no-homerism. FSU and USC both have damned nasty classes as well though.

I don't mind seeing FSU, USC, Ohio St. or even Texas have high ranked classes. Keep some of the talent spread out outside the SEC.

They just can't touch ours.

Are any of these kids in danger of not qualifying? I haven't heard anything that would make me think that but I haven't followed as closely as I have in the past.

LOL.

You left out the part where he kept asking for "Rocky Top rants" repeatedly. Begging fans to call in and give their best chest beating rant.

Then replayed them for 2 weeks while mocking them and saying he didn't know why UT fans would call in and act like that.

I remember SEC rants, but not Rocky Top rants. Saw some stupid stuff from all fan bases.

UCLA and Auburn knocked it out of the park today as well

Vandy and UF are easily the top Weiners of the day though

Depends on how you look at it. Going into signing day Florida was ranked 61st according to 247 Sports. They are now ranked 21st. That's a 40 spot jump in one day and there are still rumbling that they may actually get Cowart after all. If they land Cowart it will get them inside the top 20, perhaps top 15. All things considered, that's a pretty darn good comeback.

Brave Volunteer is right, much as I hate to admit it. That's pretty impressive jumping from the Gators. Having said that, I am one of those paranoid fans who thinks FL gets a lot of undeserved love and benefit-of-the-doubt from the national media...

Florida made a huge jump today, but a ranking in the #20's in the SEC is still bad (look at ours from a few years back). 75% of their class will likely make little to no impact. Especially in a state like Florida, where you can be blindfolded, sling a dead cat, and hit a 4* prospect. No excuses there.

We have turned into the kids at school that calls the cool kids names because they keep beating you at everything..lol

Exactly the point.

Ut fans hadn't been calling (during the SEC rants), so he he asked several times "let's get some Rocky Top rants in here guys". A few UT fans called in and sounded exactly as stupid as the rival fans.

However, they received a few more replays and also more condescention.
Edit: not the video rants, something "talk". calls only.

Hate I had to work today, first time I have missed the live coverage in the last 3 years!!! But thanks to Volnation I was able to keep up with it.. And I will have to say after not having an OC on NSD I was very impressed with CBJ and his entire staff!!! A great big hats off to them for getting such a great class!!! GBO VFL :hi:

Lol, I know, I've been saying the last week that they'll most likely finish 14-16. They had a tough morning, but it could easily flip with Cowart.

I'm actually kind of surprised that OSU and FSU both lost out on a major prospect like that.

Granted, if you're at that position, Missouri has the recent great record of development if you're looking towards getting drafted (Richardson, Ealy, Ray, Golden...could also possibly add Ziggy Hood, and I guess Aldon Smith, though he changed positions in the NFL).

So it does make sense.

Just still, with the difficulty the smaller Missouri generally has with recruiting plus the larger brand name and recent major successes OSU and FSU have had...that usually ends up towards the latter.

To be fair the Auburn and Bama callers on there do not need to be made fun of by Paul. The show is actually ok if you listen for some of the guests and the guy that fills in when Paul is out is actually a UT fan and is pretty decent to listen to. The show is like Jerry Springer though with some of the trailer trash fans that call in.
