Official North Carolina vs. Tennessee - Music City Bowl thread

The worst thing of all was Bray doing that ridiculous salute all night, then the gestures over to the UNC bench after the Tennessee TD in the first OT. Five minutes later, he's sobbing uncontrollably.

The young man is going to have to mature if he wants to be a successful quarterback and control his highs and lows.

I agree 100%....he needs to mature, this game will be part of his growth process.

link?

Sobbing uncontrollably?

Another Tebow fan pissed that we made fun of his crying little baby.

FWIW, I hate Florida more than you do. I wish success for Bray, but he went from that ridiculous salute and taunting the UNC sideline to pouring tears. I don't have a link and I don't need one. 10 million people just saw in live on national TV.

I'm just stating that a big developmental hurdle for Bray is going to be approaching the game with respect and a level head. He's got the talent, but needs the brain. NEVER taunt the opponent's sideline- especially if you're the QB. You've got to be above that.

Sober up... He purposely left his feet and drove his helmet into his upper back. Lucky the guy didn't receive a severe injury.

That's not the rule. Learn the rules if you're going to try to talk about them. You can leave your feet for a tackle and Janzen hit him with his shoulder.

+1. The saluting crap needs to stop.

Lincoln and Dooley lost the game...What is wrong with telling your offense, "This is the last 1st down for the year"...make it happen... You know it is what it is...sorry azz lincoln missed a simple high school kick, but dooley still had time or so he thought...I hope this burns deep into his brain of what not to do, the players fought so hard, got let down by a kicker, but most of all THE VOLS AND the VOLNATION got let down by a young coach who does not know how valuable a minute and a half and 2 timeouts are to the other team that wants nothing but to see you lose...like we did

Get the hell outta here with your trying to get a rise out of the fans after that shaft job. You're trolling, plain and simple.

Wasn't a "shaft" job. It was a combination of bad coaching and bad individual plays in the last 2 minutes of regulation.

But keep ignoring the obvious and blame the referees and anything else that we couldn't control.

We gave the game away, and that's what hurts!

Yeah. Terrible place to get hit. Right in the shoulder pads. I'll bet he's in the ICU right now.

Ha smartvols a dumbass.. it was obviously clean and a hustle play by JJ

Can somebody please post a pick of the awesome hit called for "launching"???

No to the all of the pure bs you're trying to spew. You are wrong on every account.

I believe you saw the same game that I saw, and most reasonable Tennessee fans saw... :good!::good!:

What did Wilcox do? The D played a great game. You need to change your name pronto

Well, they played well the first 29 minutes of each half. Guess the last minutes don't matter. Ultimately, how did they go down sooo easy in the first half and how they go down sooo easy in the second half.

How about the hit on Da'Rick that was lauded as a great move by a Senior. Same kind of hit. Its Called FOOTBALL!!!

We were a part of 2 of the strangest and heart-pounding endings of the year. Nobody can ever say we are boring. Young team, big mistakes down the stretch, horrible college rule allowing another snap. Fun game to watch, and our young freshmen were on full display for America. Can't wait til NSD and next season!

The head ref said "The game is over." Then they reviewed it. Pretty tough not to assign some blame to the officials.

That's retarded. Janzen had a HUGE pick. And the hit at midfield was an attempt to knoch the guy out of bounds and end the game.

Why trash our best defensive player?
well if you watch the games over and over like I do, You will see Janzen jumping and turning his back into allmost every other tackle... if he would just wrap up like your tought all your life and stop launching his self and turning backwards he'd be a hell of a lot better and whiff a whole lot less!

Off to the recruiting board.......................Que creepy Batman series spinning meanwhile screen thingy.

Went over 200 tonight. I'm a big boy now.

Yup....now when Instant Classic shows a 2010 TN game, I'll know enough not to watch.

:good!:

He still needs to learn that sometimes its better to just go for the safe tackle. Its all about knowing when is the right time, he just doesnt have that knowledge down yet. Or atleast thats my opinion

+10000

Bet that dude never played a down. Probably one of the parents that trys to not let elementary kids play football at recess

Continue to ignore the obvious.

If the personal fouls continue, along with poor coaching decisions, and the inability to kick a freaking PAT or FG successfully in a "big" game, you will be blaming the refs for years to come.
