Strange...

List looks right to me. I've gotten about 10 so far and they are all on that list.

On the 3rd boss now. No idea what it is or how to beat it.

yeah I checked your gamertag through freak and it didn't show what they were..I was just curious.

One of the secret ones is 'Continue 100 times.' I think most will get that one unless they give up all together. ;)

It's ok. Not really my cup of tea as I find it a bit repetitive. Kill group of monsters, move along and do it all over again. I suppose most games are like that. Don't really understand or care about the story myself.

It's cool for awhile chopping off heads, arms, legs, torsos, etc. But, I'm starting to tire of it. I'll probably move on to Lego Indy tonight.

On the 4th Chapter now...so you can't say I haven't given it a fair chance. Fans of the first one will like this. People that are proud to say they beat the first one on Master Ninja (or whatever setting) will probably get the same rush saying it about this one, too.

Picked up my copy at Gamestop after work. I find that it is exactly what I expect from a sequel. Gameplay is revised from NG:B. Only problem I've had with the 2 hours I spent playing is that Warrior difficulty doesn't seem nearly hard enough. The addition of the Obliteration Technique cheapens some of the more difficult enemies... chop of an arm, then OT it. Easy. Hopefully MN is more difficult. :)

Not that anyone here cares...

Just completed Chapter 10 last night. Kind of disappointed in so many bosses that require bow usage, and the gatling rocket soldiers are a pretty cheap enemy, not as good as NG:B, but still a solid sequel.

I may send Quake Wars back and get this.....it's gotten a lil better when I figured out what was going on..but not that good.

Check out the demo first NCGB. I love it, but it is pretty similar to the original... I think the difficulty has been nerfed somewhat though. The next to last boss stopped my first run b/c I ran out of items. :banghead2: I only used the dragon sword that entire run, so this round I've decided to play with more of the weapons.

I played the demo, it was fun, I guess. Never played the others, though, so I don't know what to expect. Didn't seem too hard...

It gets more difficult for the second half of the game. But your point is taken, hence I think it has been nerfed from what it was. The biggest complaint from the original was that Murai, the boss at the end of the first level was one of the hardest in the game.

Some of the achievements are amazingly easy... "Perform X move", but others take TONS of play time "Complete the game using only X weapon".

Seriously, you should play the entire game through once, on warrior. That should get you about 700G. Don't miss The Rod of Trials in chapter 2. There is an open area with a shrine, and after defeating the enemies the cut scene says "The candles are lit" on a shrine... go to the shrine, jump the fence and pick it up. That unlocks the Tests of Valor, which are worth 15G a piece for completing them, and most are fairly easy... others are brutally hard. :)

It is the "normal" difficulty. I can't really gauge for you. The hundreds of hours I logged playing NG:B gave me an advantage... I didn't find it difficult except for the next to last boss.

Remy I played up til what I believe is the end of the 2nd chapter..just picked up the bow and shot the circle to let the stairs down...then I fall in with another boss and his minions...whats the best way to kill him? Sword or bow?

Rasetsu, the big spiderlike gray guy? He's actually just a mini boss, the final boss of the chapter is Gensin, in a big flaming room.

Sword or claws.

Kill off the minions first with UTs or flying swallow (jump toward them and press Y) Or use Inferno ninpo.

To kill Rasetsu roll left or right as he hits your block, then do a short attack, like XYY, then back to blocking.

Here's a video of Shinobier taking him down... this guy is one of the best NG players out there. He used to frequent the NG forum I am a member of.

There's a thing about how you time your moves... learning curve is high, but easy once you get the hang of it. I'm glad you gave the game a shot. :)

I'm just sad that I'm the only VN guy who likes the NG series.
