Played the demo before work this morning for an hour or so. The checking is 100% better and more realistic, no more hip checks when someone is close to you lol. Gameplay felt a little different, but not near what I expected.

I couldnt possibly be able to grade the demo after only an hour of play. There are some new things with the physics and the new faceoff system is pretty cool. Outside of that and the hitting, not much has changed as far as I can tell with only an hour with it.

Played one period of the ultimate team. It plays really smooth. I did put the puck on authentic and it is really small. I need to play more today to give an accurate score.

I think the game will be just fine, though hard to tell playing on moron level + slow speed.

as a center, the new faceoff feature has me drooling. Hits are awesome and feel real now. Passing is tricky- they changed it so now you have to gauge the power of each pass...one timers across the front are now difficult to pull off. AI has improved immensely! The defense actually plays D- challenging the puck carriers and pushing them to the outside and clogging the slots. AI offense moves the puck around much better and doesn't act retarded on attacks. the new hustle feature is pretty slick - better than I thought it would be.

The ultimate team feature is going to be addicting.... it takes elements of fantasy hockey and mixes it with tourny play! I can see other sports games doing this in the future.

This game can't come out fast enough.

I like how big hits cause loose sticks- first time I lost mine I freaked out in our zone, then teed up on a forward in the slot Eric Berry style! lmao

Fun game. However, with my vast knowledge of hockey, I'm sure my playing style is like the guy that scrambles and throws hail marys all game on NCAA.

The EA SPORTS Hockey League has been one of the most popular features in the NHL series since 09. In NHL 11 I feel that we’ve really raised the bar on the mode with a mix of features that the hardcore guys have been asking for, as well as making it more accessible to those who love NHL but haven’t played before.

This year in the EASHL you start off as a Free Agent, and are free to play Drop-In Games to get a feel for the game, as well as start to grow your player. You can edit your Pro right from the mode, as well as see the Free Agent leaderboards. Check out the ‘Around the League’ menu to see who the best clubs are in the EASHL. You can get scouted and invited to a club, start your own club, or go look for a club to request to join.

Once on a club, you can see right away one of the big additions: the divisions; the EASHL is divided up into the Elite, Pro, and Amateur divisions. Right on your Club Hub screen you can always see your current division for the season, and an indicator arrow for where your club currently sits within it. The EASHL regular season is all about driving to earn your place in the best division you can in order to qualify for the other huge addition: the playoffs. Finishing the regular season in a division earns you a spot in the playoffs."

Also only one game at a time for a team. Now teams that have like 20 guys on it cant play like 6 games at once giving them mad points for the team.

Gamestops have been calling people and telling them the game will be availible for sale on Sunday due to the holiday. :)

first of all why would they release a game that's set to be out on tuesday on sunday because of a monday holiday. do you smoke crack before you make the rumors up? by the way, the gamestop here is not releaseing until tuesday and all gamestops will be open on monday. now go think up some other rumor to post or better yet get on OS with your second name and create some rumor that you can link to.

Unless you have a link or proof that I would do something like that STFU. I am just relaying what I have read on Gamespot forums, gamespy forums, and OS. If you dont like what I say, feel free to put me on ignore, shut your face, and go about your fing day.
