Official NCAA Football 2010 Thread

They said the scale of player ratings had been changed, and there would be less mid or high 90's players... But it looks about the same.

WR gearald 90 hancock 87 not sure who 83 is he is a jr 86 no austin rodgers or denarius Moore on roster or Nukeese right now TE warren 87 stocker 86

Austin Rogers is on there...he is an 85 overall, 90 speed, along with an 82 break tackle and 88 catching...go figure.

Nukeese is on there too. You can see him if you just view the entire offense and scroll down, but for some reason he isn't listed on the WRs. They have him as #12, 81 overall, 94 speed. Pretty good, not great, but with players able to progress in speed more in this game, he could be a stud as a soph or junior.

All in all, it is just another average year as far as EA's rosters go. It is like they do the rosters months before the game is out. That's fine, but it can't be that difficult to do final roster tweeks a month before the game comes out. It is pretty bad that almost every team has players on the game that nobody knows who they are supposed to be, or guys that haven't been on the team since the spring.

Yeah, Madden said the same thing, but the top tier of their rosters seems as inflated as ever. I guess they just decided to forget they ever said that...but NCAA is still sticking with the lower rated recruits thing. Hopefully they made it where more guys are willing to stay for their senior or redshirt junior years, otherwise it could be near impossible to build a long term powerhouse team. Of course actually being able to talk them into staying now will make a huge difference in itself. But I didn't really play much regular dynasty on last year's game, so I don't know much about the success rate of that either.

Well its official, Hitler hates NCAA 10

YouTube - Hitler Hates NCAA Football 10

The reason this is funny; Because it's true. EA continues to screw over vet players. Hell, I've played every single game since that pothead Ricky Williams was on the cover, and this might be the first NCAA game I don't get since 2000.

I don't know though, I've been wavering on whether to get it or not for months now. NCAA 10 might be the revolt of the vets from this game to Madden. Like I said, I'll most likely get it anyways, through just pure want to play the game, but there's still a chance I don't get it.

I'm wavering on getting it. All of a sudden, I have a sneaking suspicion it won't be that different of a game.

I know they have the bands playing at the beginning of the game, but will they have team entrances?

I'm not sure if you guys are aware of this, but the game's rosters are completely screwed up. Some of the EA devs have talked about it and saying that they are trying to fix the problem. Evidently, the wrong rosters made the game and are on the NCAA 10 disc which is soon to go gold.

Basically, they screwed up even more than they did last year when the game would crash every time you edited rosters.

There is a simple solution to all of NCAA football games' problems: Two dev teams, working for alternate year releases. Instead of only having a year to churn out the next one, they get two to do it right. We still get a game every year.

Wow. That is a really cool idea. I've never heard of that idea before.

thats actually a really good idea. shame that ea won't waste money on it.......

BTW i was informed tonight that NCAA will not give exclusive rights to EA after this yr or next which i find very hard to believe but we will see.So everyone that was in the party rem the post i will eat crow if that guy was correct. I call huge major bs on this though.

OMG these rosters issues are going to kill it. Texas Tech has a 50 man roster. USC east had 1 player from last yrs game that got edited the rest are the same. Alot and i mean alot from what i am reading teams have o Freshmen. Some Big 10 like MSU has a ton of issues overall like 71. USC east has a 5 star FS who is a 40 overall. There saying these rosters are already on the disc and they are not saying if we can edit them are not. They will loose a ton of sales if this is true.

Saw this on OS. lol

NCAA 10 featuring Season Showdown sponsored by Coke Zero:
Still uses NCAA 09 rosters
Still no custom playbooks
Still no formation subs
Still no in-game saves
Still no spring game
Still no historic teams
Still no improvements to the sliders
Still think an exclusive license is good?

This is what EA is aying about roster screw up.

Hey guys… so we are aware of the issue with no (or few) freshmen on some teams in TeamBuilder and yes the same issues are found on the NCAA 10 disc. Over the past few days, one of our top priorities has been investigating solutions.

The TeamBuilder teams require some data on the disc to set Depth Charts for every team created before they can be used in a game. For example if you use the Cupcake roster as a starting point, NCAA 10 will give you a default Depth Chart for the Cupcakes for your TeamBuilder team (which you can edit in game). This means any changes we make could cause some problems with teams already created using TeamBuilder. So we need to ensure we are taking to proper steps to correct the issues.

We understand the concerns with how this can affect Dynasty mode and Online Games, so we are working hard to have a solution in place before launch on July 14th.
