I admit I had already conceded the tieing goal, but we found a way to win. I still prefer to close out a game like Detroit did in game... Grind down the other team in their zone for 20-40 seconds at a time, chip, (actually) chase, repeat.

I think i just took my first breath since the second period. A win is a win on the road, and they are all good. Took back home ice too! We sure know how to make it exciting though. I really really hope Gill is back Tuesday. We don't need Ellis or Hillen out there only eating up 8 minutes.

Kind of surprised that I haven't seen anything about the brutal missed call on the Franzen spear. Legwand grabs his jersey (from the bench), Franzen spears him in the stomach.

Should've been 5 and a game, not a minor for slashing.

I accidently let out a loud "suck it" when we got the 3rd goal and I don't even know where it came from.
I peeked over at my wife and she had this half smirk, half pissed look on her face. Told her we'd go to a game next week, so the smirk turned to smile.

Yep. They would be completely deflated if they lost 2 inside their own building. I was nervous after they flipped our home ice advantage on us. Was huge to take it back again.
