Why was Subban's last goal waved off? I know the call had something to do with offsides, but I'm not familiar enough with the sport's rules to know which player's placement where resulted in the nullifying the goal.

One of our players was on the goal side of the blue line before the puck was. He was trying to skate back onside (skating away from the goal toward Subban) but didn't get there in time.

That sounds like a type of injury that could keep him out for part of the 2018-19 season too. Also a "he'll never be the same player again" injury. Best wishes to him

There's nothing questionable about it really. Just skating hard and fast.

It was a fair hit. Guy wasn't intentionally trying to do that. Fiala's leg got at an awkward angle. Not a lot the guy could do.
