Mini poll:

Which would you rather have for OT procedure in the NHL?

A. 3 on 3 followed by a shootout
B. 4 on 4 followed by a shootout
C. (My idea) both teams get 2 minutes of a Powerplay a piece, followed by a shootout if still tied.
D. Other (explain)

3 v 3 is perfect. Absolutely love it

10 minutes of sudden death 5 on 5, then a tie. No more 3 point games.

The 4 on 4 is some semblance of professional hockey, 3 on 3 is straight pond hockey, every bit as gimmicky as the shootout.

No better time than now to trade Weber for a true #1 front liner

Hard part there is teams that might be willing to make a move for an elite player in season likely don't have the cap space etc.

Lots of talk league wide about Eric Staal, but if I were Poile I'd kick the tires on Jordan. 6 million per, expires in 2023 when he's 35. He has a NMC which might prove a problem, but moving a guy with a seemingly team friendly contract like Ekholm, plus some picks, why not?

Signed to a managable deal, 200 foot player who, although not Toews or Getzlaf by any reach, should be able to hang with most of the pivots out west.

You guy's division alone almost sold me on center ice, top to bottom probably the best in pro sports.

Huge win in the shark tank to start the cma trip.

This team HAS to win more draws though. Especially in the offensive zone.

Can't. Score. Goals.

All advanced stats have Nashville at the top of the league in possession & shots on goal..comes down to lack of scoring ability.

Jones needs to be dealt for a #1 center like yesterday.
