Official Nashville Predators Thread

I don't think we'll be able to sign Vesey.

Highly doubtful, not that I blame any NCAA player for staying for free agency, especially when they're more or less guaranteed a rookie max contract.

Tough series to swallow for you guys, a few bad penalties by guys who know better in game 1 and last night led to PPG that gave Chicago the steam to get back into things. Disappointing end to a good season.

This series was just a continuation of the last two months. A terrible hockey team.

I am not gonna go as far as calling them a joke.. this is a young team with a lot of talent. Chicago has a ton of playoff experience and they looked much sharper.

They have been a joke since coming to Nashville... They had to have a rally to sell season ticket or the team was going to pack up......

At one point they had been to 7 straight post seasons, where only Detroit had a longer streak, and in the last 5 years have consistently hovered around the middle of the leage in attendance (% full not total). Ask people around the league about our home attendance for games not named "Florida on a Wednesday".

I'm tired of people coming in here, throwing a skunk in the room, and jetting. The amount of ***** made comments are bad enough.

We went from nearly worst to a top seed in year one of a new coaching staff and have a defensive core who averages 25 years old, and a top scorer who should've been a finalist for rookie of the year. We are young, and if not for a blown 3-0 lead, yes which was disappointing and shouldn't happen, we push a veteran Chicago team plastered with lines full of former NHL champions and experience to the brink. The majority of this series without a top 5 defensemen in the league.

Pretty much sums up my outlook. The future looks promising.

Exactly. Don't forget about the Admiral guys like Fiala who look very promising.

Are you serious? Think about the teams that have almost relocated over the past couple decades: Pittsburgh, Edmonton, New Jersey, and NYI.

Then think about teams that have been relocated: Minnesota North Stars, Quebec, and Hartford.

Believe it or not, sometimes it takes time for a sport to grow in certain areas. Nashville is financially stable now.

Yeah, this series was a tough one to take. We lost 2 OT games and blew 2 multiple goal leads. We chased two goalies, won the majority of stats, and still lost.

The bottom line is that Chicago stepped it up when they needed too and we didn't.

Here's a thought....don't follow them then.

What's up with this place and the constant window lickers that feel the need to post in threads saying how much they hate something or just to bash it? Are we supposed to care?
