Official Nashville Predators Thread

His timing couldn’t have been better. On the day the Calder Trophy finalists were announced, Nashville’s Filip Forsberg was the odd man out. Four players deserved to be finalists, but there were spots for only three: Aaron Ekblad, Mark Stone and Johnny Gaudreau.

Barring some monumental oversight or a clerical error, Forsberg will finish fourth in the voting, and responded about the best way a player can -- with a playoff hat trick, keeping the Predators' season alive.

Well s***

The Nashville Predators announced Friday that Captain Shea Weber will miss the remainder of the club’s Western Conference Quarterfinal series against the Chicago Blackhawks due to a lower-body injury the defenseman suffered in Game Two of the series. However, contrary to erroneous broadcast and media reports over the last 24 hours, he did not suffer an ACL injury. Further updates will be provided as they become available.

We are one "how in THE hell did we win that game" away from playing game 7 in our arena, where we seem to always play a gear faster than Chicago does.

The problem being that Chicago at home with Toews, Kane, Hossa, Richards, Keith, etc, etc, etc.

In poker, we call this "using our ONE TIME!!!!"

If Weber was coming back in Game 6 with his usual "I'm a pissed off grizzly bear with fresh legs" attitude, I'd be damn near giddy.

Stop quoting the troll please. I don't want to read his garbage.

Can we find a way to get a garbage goal in the third?

*If you told me before the game it would be tied to start the 3rd, I would've taken it over a random outcome to the same point.
