Official Nashville Predators Thread

I don't necessarily look at him and think durability.

He'll wear down as the season goes on, dude's apparently had bouts with hard drugs and only weighs 177, 3 pounds less than Kariya despite being two inches taller.

Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled we landed him but realize we wouldn't have if he didn't have multiple issues; Forsberg won't be able to carry that line in the playoffs like he has in the regular season.

Going to the game tonight. Coyotes fans are butthurt cause Ribeiro is killing it.

He had to go, he made lots of bad connections there. There's a reason a guy with his ability has been sent packing more than once.

Hopefully he continues to keep his nose clean.

8. Nashville Predators

Nashville has never been blessed with a forward the likes of Steven Stamkos, but their ability to identify and develop defensive talent is legendary. This is a team that is always in contention and just needs someone like Stamkos to push them over the edge. With Shea Weber and Seth Jones patrolling the backend, and him leading from the front, there would be reason to get excited in the home of country music. Stammer could walk onto the club and be the best player who has ever worn their sweater. From a lifestyle perspective, Stamkos can remain under the radar in a place similar to his current NHL home, where hockey players can walk on the street without being recognized.

Predators general manager David Poile recorded his 1,171st win, moving into second on the NHL's career list behind New York Rangers GM Glen Sather.

Hutton is an okay backup. Hard to replace rinne who is having a career year.

Hutton has played five games so far? Hopefully he will pick it up.

This makes me feel good about tonights game.

With Steve Mason out with an upper-body injury, Berube figures to start Ray Emery -- whose 3.71 road goals-against average is the league's fifth-worst mark. His 3.57 GAA against Nashville is his fourth-worst against any club.
