I would like to have seen Legwand skate this year with the new roster and system. He had lost a step or three, but could've had Jokinen's initial roster spot no problem.

Losing Weber hurts but it ain't like Chicago's got a stable goaltending situation. Career minor leaguer starting Game 3 based off of one good performance.

He's been around 930 at every level he's played over the past few years, I think Darling's figured something out in his game. Goalies are like that, hell, all Tim Thomas did to progress from a middling goalie on a 2nd tier European team to winning a cup was change the pattern of the cage on his mask.

That's the absolute perfect example. I feel like this applies to a ton of minor league pitchers too.
