Having a 5 point lead over the entire league? Yeah such a long way to go.

I'm not saying we're gonna win the cup but it's hard to argue with what Nashville has done this year when everybody was predicting a drop off.

Having the best record in the entire league isn't good enough. Having one of the best back like cores of Weber, Rinne, Josi, etc, isn't good enough. Having a new coach who has propelled a stale franchise to instant success and provides a much more entertaining product for viewers isn't good enough.

Come on guys, if you aren't miserable all of the time, even when relating to hockey, how can you be a TRUE VFL!!!!!!

I was talking to a few hockey fans while playing poker last night. After they both ribbed me for being the only Predators fan for 1,200 miles any direction, they were fairly adamant Shea Weber should win the Norris Trophy this season.

For the record, they both were Arizona fans, and we had a lot of fun talking about the sales of both teams, scrutiny of the market, flares of success, etc.

Having one of the best back like cores of Weber, Rinne, Josi, etc, isn't good enough. Having a new coach who has propelled a stale franchise to instant success and provides a much more entertaining product for viewers isn't good enough.

You need all that plus a deep stable of talented, experienced, and tough forwards. Ribeiro and Neal are regular season guys, and Forsberg, Wilson, and Smith have little to no playoff experience.

For the record, I'm just glad we even have a team and am thrilled with our season, but let's be realistic about things.
