Lets just hope this year, you can't throw a guy out trying to score on a sacrifice fly from the fence in center field. Also, hopefully it is possible to run the bases without getting 2 people out.

I rented it last week, did not like it. It seems to play slow and it tends to freeze alot. I almost fell asleep while playin it. :snoring:

Got it last night I was only able to play for about thirty minutes. It's going to take some getting used to for a guy that hasn't bought a baseball game ever.
Seems pretty cool and the graphics are really good.
At least it's challenging and with no real sports to watch on TV for a couple months at least it will give me something to do.

the problem i have had with baseball games is that after 2-3 weeks you can't make them hard enough against the computer, not one that i have played as of yet...with MLB 06 The Show i started a season 41-13 with the sliders maxed with the Brew Crew, and then had to sim until late August so i had something to play for, As much as i dislike soccer, the FIFA games take the cake as most competitive vs the CPU

The new NHL was hard at first because they gave the controls a needed overhaul, and that took some getting used to, The game plays better with the new setup, but as with most sports games, after a month or so it's a dust collector unless you are online of have another person around to play against

Baseball is a real sport, just not one that I care for watching. There's just way too much to keep track of and I don't really have a favorite team that would keep me interested.

Side note the video game is freaking awesome

Smokey, I didn't like last year, but I tried the demo and the gameplay is a ton better. The baserunners actually listen to you. The batting is a lot more realistic. I also like the brightness as opposed to last year.

Pretty good game. I am terrible at it but I only played one game. I like the pitching, very realistic.

Hitting is very difficult with the swing stick. I haven't quite got the hang of it. I am pretty good at pitching but I only get one or two runs a game. Losing 3-2. Still, great game.

You can change it to classic, and just use A.
