I would be happy with Gundy or Strong....not too sure on Fedora...def not the least bit exciting of a name for sure....but if he is chosen...gotta get behind him

We need recruits! Ya Saban is a great coach, but do you think he would be in the NC hunt with marginal players? Is Fedora a name that is gonna get high school kids excited about going to Tennessee...my guess no. I think Strong and Gundy would have a much better shot on the recruiting trail with Strong having SEC experience and Florida ties and Gundy with contacts in the recruiting hotbeds of Texas and Oklahoma along with national name recognition.

What I like the most about Gundy is that he has shown that he has an eye for talent and can develop players. Recruiting under OU and Texas is tough.

Gundy and Fedora would be my first two picks out of these three.

I don't see Gundy leaving OSU. He is an alum and OSU has deep pockets. He is probably just using this to get a raise.

Fedora being in his first year, it is hard seeing him leaving, but I would be good with this pickup.

Strong, not my favorite candidate, but I have warmed up to him after reading more about him.

If we strike out on all three, who is next?? Petrino? Tressell?

Patterson and Petersen are the guys I would want, but I don't know if there is any chance to get them.

Nightmare scenerio...Gundy signs MOU amidst big hoopla, then pulls a Donovan before OKSt has a chance to fill his spot.

That would be the pickle on top of our 5 yr old sh*t sandwich.

This is 100% a power play for him. I still can't see him bolting OSU. I bet he stays.

One thing is though, T Boone Pickens has faded into the background after he took some big financial blows. So it's going to come down to control. I think OSU will cede it to him.
