I say screw it and just give republicans everything they want. I'm so over this political tug of war. Nothing of substance will ever occur and maybe this is the time to demonstrate that.

I think Keystone gets through.

I don't think that the GOP is dumb enough to do tax breaks for anything other than the middle class. The one message that seemed to resonate for the Dems this year was the uneven nature of the economic recovery. If the GOP gives tax breaks to the wealthy on a trickle down platform, I think that would undo a lot of their gains this go-round.

Oh I'm sure it will. The American people really need another way for oil companies to make profits. Just heard the new guy from Colorado mention it as the first thing to act on. Yep man, America really has no other problems on our plate. That pipeline has really been the root of all of our problems.

So why, in your opinion, are companies holding so much cash? If the govt will get out of the way you'll see exactly how trickle down works. If the rich are hoarding their money taxing them to oblivion has shown to be useless. Also, printing more money and giving it to the less responsible creates nothing except retail jobs.

Can't help but think the GOP success is temporary. It might take 20 years, but eventually a lot of red states are going to be turning more blue. Look at Texas. Lose that one, and you're done.
