Knowing Kansas state is playing La-Chicago in an elite 8 game without beating a top 10 team is plenty of a big enough win to prove me point

UT would have beat tonights UK by 30. One of our worst offensive games of the season imo and really reflective of us on the season. No outside shooting. Bad free throw shooting. Simple mistakes on defense. We could beat bad teams like Davidson and Buffalo on talent alone, but hard to beat decent teams taking contested inside shots the whole night.

Nah, Bruin, that match-up is what makes it so beautiful, imo. This may be the wildest (most upsets and unlikely teams advancing) NCAA Tourney that I can remember. I'm old, too. The first Tourney I can remember was when I was 8, 1979, Bird vs. Magic

Consider this: If Kansas St does win on Saturday, a 5 seed will have been the highest seeded team that they beat to reach the final four. And that kind of draw for a 9 seeded team? That is crazy! How many 9 seeds in the history of this tournament have ever played 2 teams in their region seeded lower than they were? Insane.

Guys I have been as rational as possible about losing to Loyola. I’m not embarrassed and so proud of what this team accomplished. But oh man seeing Kentucky lose and Nevada miss shots.......it’s hurting

Can u imagine if Custer's shot bounces off the rim and UT hangs on to win. Then we get Nevada instead of Cincy, win and we are getting ready to face K-State. The road to the Final 4 was plowed for UT, also. So, although I enjoyed Ky losing, immensely, can't help, but, to feel like we both blew it. At least, Ky has those other umpteenth Final 4s to ease their pain. What coulda been ? Still, enjoyed the hell out of this season and I expect an even better one, next year.

Also, the NCAA T isn't necessarily about the best team. Otherwise explain NC State in '83, Villanova in '85, Duke in '91 Duke, maybe UF in '96, UConn in '11.

Unbelievable. Not sure We'll ever see a Final 4 in my lifetime. Been waiting 50 years and it hasn't happened yet. Never will have as easy of a road as we would have had this year. Still sick that Alexander didn't play because we win that game had he played. Hopefully next year is the year
