Cuonzo happened

To be fair, have to give him some credit for what he’s done there (independent of what all happened here or with his leaving UT):

With how badly Frank Haith just absolutely wrecked that basketball program, actually getting them back to NCAA tournament level feels like it deserves some degree of props.

(They won a measely 28% of their games over the 3 years that followed Haith’s being forced out...not to mention Haith’s last season was vacated - his 3rd year in a tenure that took a 2-seed, Big 12 tournament champion team down to the level of NIT at best.)

Yes u can or u wouldn't have picked 'em

I have and will bet against the Vols. Doesn't change how bad I want us to win but if we can get to that game it would be excruciating to see us lose and oh how sweet on the other flip side.

I see Cuonzo had Missouri motivated to play in the tournament with a very impressive 20 first half points.

And Cubs won the World Series.

All kinds of weird stuff keeps happening. If the Browns win the Super Bowl next year, something is definitely up.

Something is definitely up

To Tennessee trolls who pop up every time Cuonzo Martin loses a game at Cal: your record is 26-27 since he left. And you just lost to TCU.

Didn’t the Cubs win the World Series year before last (2016)?

(I’m not going to lie: I really don’t follow baseball a ton.)

I love the upset...but to be honest Virginia was probably my second fave team to watch...love their defensive intensity

Meanwhile, the bracket is set up so that Kentucky makes the elite eight pretty easily. How does that always seem to happen?

Can I watch a replay? Anyone know where? I’ll be honest... I only watched the last 5 minutes. I watched the score from the start of the second half on my phone and was sure that as soon as I turned it on UMBC would lose.

I mean, credit to them, they’re playing well at the right time. They're getting lucky on the draw, too. But so is Tennessee, if they can take care of their business.

I keep rewinding it on my DVR. You can come over if you want.
