Zeller looking for someone to post up against the zone. Clearly not comfortable doing what he needs to do. And he doesnt look half as lost as the rest of them.

My bracket actually made it to the second weekend but I can throw it in the trash after that. Woof.

Tom Crean continues to put the "ass" in class, something of which he has none (his blow-by handshakes are almost a standard now). Cody Zeller will be going pro in something other than sports. And holy crap, has IU never heard of a hurry-up offense? You can't be taken seriously if you're dribbling the clock out down 12 with three minutes to play.

But hey, go Wichita State! It would make me a very happy camper to watch them beat Ohio Saturday.

Syracuse, with its length and its classic zone, completely stymied a good Indiana team. Indiana moves the ball well, but they could not get any open looks against the zone. Syracuse with too much size and quickness on defense--they played the zone perfectly, I'm sorry to say. Miami looked terrible. My bracket is now a smoking ruin.

The Syracuse win solidified a Marquette appearance in the Final Four, if the first matchup between these two teams is any indication of what to expect in the second. Cuse shot pretty well that game (48% and 33%); Marquette, decent (42% and 24%). Everything else was damn near even, and Marquette still won, because Marquette's players know how to get to the foul line (and, Syracuse fouls and puts other teams on the foul line a lot).

If Cuse shoots around their season averages (44% and 33%), and Marquette shoots around its season average ( 46% and 31%), then Marquette should have a bit more breathing room than they did a month ago.

They werent in legal guarding position because he crashed into both of them? I hope its me that doesnt know the rules and not the color guy of the Final Four.

3 poor block/charge calls against Oregon. 2 awful foul calls on clean steals. Havent seen anything questionable against lousville yet.


Dont think the Ducks are going away.
