Official Make Fun Of LSU Thread

I love/hate Louisiana. Number one, I miss my home state of Tennessee and would move back there in a heart-beat. But Louisiana is a special place ... it has qualities that are unique in this country, mixed with shortcomings that don't have to be that way, which makes that part all the more sad/tragic/frustrating. I reckon to keep the common folk from rising up, instead of "bread and circuses" we have boudin and jambalaya and football and parades and festivals.

But ... Peyton came from here.

The guy on the left got the short end of the deal, or he could of liked it because his trainer is already on clean up duty.

DUH, because LSU fans smell like corndogs...plain and simple. Look it up. You would think that despite all the jumbalaya, and gumbo, and etoufees, and grilled meats at LSU tailgates and such that they would smell like those things, but somehow the aroma of corndogs is prevalent among all LSU fans.

from a lsu board

To sum it up:
PART ONE:
Nebraska fans were called corndogs by Big 12 foes because they are the cornhuskers. Makes sense, I guess.

PART TWO:
Auburn fan proclaims LSU fans smell like corndogs, It's an obvious case of plagiarism. If an opponent has the same mascot as you (see: Auburn Tigers and LSU Tigers) you can't really make fun of tigers. What's an unimaginative Auburn fan to do? Steal some random insult from other passionate college football fanbase.

Over the years some people have reasoned that Auburn fans (and now other less intelligent fanbases including Alabama, UGA, Florida, etc.) call us corndogs because of all the fried food we cook at tailgates. This is a spin put on the obvious lack of imagination this insult was born from. Anybody who has been to LSU during a tailgate realizes quite quickly that most food is grilled or prepared in other ways more frequently than fried.

This is all really funny because most LSU fans now embrace the corndog name because that insult(?) shows, more than anything, how lame Aurburn fans really are. Being called a corndog is now a badge of honor. There are worse things to be. How would you like to be a Gump or Bammer?

I love LA because it has the best waterfowl hunting in the world (excluding Argentina) and women will expose their breasts if you'll just throw them some cheap beads to them.

I don't mind messing with another football team, but when you mess with someone's home...that's going too far.

I can't stand LSU and their fans, but I love New Orleans and my state.

So, it just shows your ignorance so f*** you and your OP!

One of my most favorite memories came from that city...The massive party before, during and after the 1985 sugar bowl victory over Miami :loco: Nawlins is a fun city

It's really a fun state. It has such personality - much more than say Mississippi, Arkansas, or Alabama. The people here love Louisiana just as much as the people in TN love the state of Tennessee. Plus, you can't beat the 70 degree weather in January. They really love their football down here. Not only do they have a great game on Saturdays but they also have a great game on Sundays too. That being said, I will never love a team as much as I love the VOLs. It's just in my blood.

having to worry about when the next major hurricane is going to hit your town is really rough.

I used to live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Pascagoula from 98-00 so i missed Katrina. Ive got alot of friends i keep in touch with down there that stuck around after Katrina and im hoping to get down there soon. Had alot of good times with some great friends in that area.
