Still wonder why we aren't playing many A starters
Again, workload management is the biggest thing. Giving others chance to earn a spot on the squad. This cup doesn’t mean a lot in the grand scheme of things.

If some of the starters weren’t sitting this out they would have pretty much played a match a week since August of last year and the season starts up in full swing in like 3 weeks. This is the only chance they get to rest all year really.

Agreed. You also need to see which of your "B" team can rise and accept the challenge. Turner is a beast. Right now it seems that Vasquez, Ferrerra, Jones, Mihailovich, and Cowell will give USA soccer something to think about. I love Busio's work ethic, but he is seems to be more of a Kellyn Acosta type player for me. Roldan is consistent but better days behind him. I just cannot get a good read on Sands. I like his grit and there is potential there. The other defenders need to improve before they are ready for the A team.

Frankly, after watching 240 minutes vs Canada and Panama, I’m not particularly sad that I won’t be watching 90 more minutes vs Mexico to see if we had anything left at all.

This is mind blowing to me.

Me too, but it kind of makes sense. They have a very multicultural, young fanbase that uses a lot of social media. However most of the ones joining since Messi signed are bandwagon fans whose interest will completely evaporate when Messi leaves.
