Just my 2 cents.....

I feel the franchise should be a draft for team selection. That way if a person gets stuck with a low pick/bad team then all is good. But I would like a chance to play with the Titans as would CBC, Avon and probably a few others... I'm not trying to throw a wrench into the works here, but that's my thoughts anyway. As it stands now I'm not sure I will even get in on a franchise anyway due to how fast paced the other ones got with NCAA. They just got to be a to time consuming.

Whether I'm in or not here is a random online name selector that the commission could use if you like the idea. Basically you enter all the names line by line and then hit the typewriter or the fruit machine button the randomly generate names. Names can repeat with a long list but all you do is hut ut again to keep it going......

Or I just thought about this.....

What if you did it in reverse and say JTrain had the 1st roll and we entered all the team names and the machine selected the teams?!?!?

Ok Bearcat im on page with you know Madden is going to kill NCAA. I called the Super Bowl Champs very early in this. I have talked with CBC and we can run it but i want a limited amount of peeps in it cant run this with 32. I would say max 10 or 12 just my thoughts. I would also like to say some BS trades like BIG Ben Hines and James HArrison to Titans for Vince young should be vetoed. This should be talked about more in the coming months by all members the set guidelines for it. I know as of know we will have avon smoke bass train cbc cat myself chad if he buys it not sure on the rest. Game looks sick we just need to nail down team owners i dont want to go with full draft for players that is just my thoughts.

A full draft would be most balanced, but also, the titans are the only team that seems to have much conflict over it. I agree with the limited number of players, as we learned with the NCAA dynasty. I'm for keeping it about the same bunch we had in the dynasty

I would vote to not have a draft and also think a vote should be made to all proposed trades

Either way is ok with me, but to be honest the more I think about the reverse role I like it a little better.

  1. Randomly select users name:
    • 1st - JTrain
    • 2nd - CBC
    • 3rd - Smokey
    • 4th - Mason
    • ETC....
  2. Take that order and draw team names:
    • 1st team drawn goes to JTrain
    • 2nd team drawn goes to CBC
    • 3rd team drawn goes to Smokey
    • 4th team drawn goes to Mason
    • ETC....
Kinda similar to a player getting drafted...not knowing what team will select you. :dunno:

just a thought.....to make things interesting, what about a fantasy draft(if they give you the option) at the very beginning to keep things somewhat balanced. that way, if someone ended up with a team known for being crappy, you could always build them up with the players you select in the fantasy draft. not sure how realistic this is, or if it would even be an option, but just throwing the idea out there.

I want to select my team even if it isnt the Steelers. I dont want to be forced a team when we have run selecting teams by a draw system. The group we have is pretty trust worthy and can be trusted for one of us to draw numbers. Train is correct about the Titans even though CBC called them first he willing to move for someone else. I know Daw Avon Smokey will still want the Titans. We draw out numbers and pick teams accordingly is my thoughts.

Fantasy draft in my thoughts would be tedious and some people would fook up a team worse than the Lions taking 10 to 12 hrs to do it.

I like it the original way because you have your salary cap to deal with and run your team.

My vote is 100% against Fantasy vote is 1 to 1. Fantasy draft 75 players for 10 owners maybe it would take more than 24 hrs.

I mean is the Salary cap even included in a Fantasy Draft because you could cap out with only 35 players on the squad and end up signing 20 players that there new contracts come up after the first yr then your screwed.

I'm leaning towards default teams, there will likely be little difference among the top 10-12 teams, and mason mkes goodpoints about the rosters being thrashed by a draft
