honestly i wish they'd take the old xbox engine, bring it back, update the graphics and make the AI better and it would be perfect. I think the games get worse every year.

With EA buying out the NFL license, they dont' have any competition to deal with. Because of this, they aren't going to try as hard to beat out another game. Sad, but true.

I havn't been a Madden fan since 98. NCAA is all I need :)

seconded. I will play madden for a couple of months, but my NCAA will get worn out by the time '09 comes out.

I didn't read this whole thread, has anyone exported their NCAA campus legend to Madden yet? I did it a couple of days ago and went to the Chargers as their #1 receiver and a 92 overall as a rookie...pretty awesome to go in and not have to spend forever climbing up the depth chart.

so far i've heard pretty much nothing but good reviews for madden on the next-gen consoles. the ps2.......not so much......

there is a serious bug in madden right now. Every time i've done franchise just simulating after a couple season one time early on in my franchise other late into it, it'll get to a game that it wont let you play, or sim and you are stuck and have to quit. Also if a players in the FA and he doesnt get a contract they delete like half of them which causes problems if your trying to fill your roster and there are no players left in the free agency to pick up at that position. But the franchise bug is pretty major.

I think the graphics are great for this game!!

Also the achievements are way to easy...... I have only played in Superstar mode so far and my team is getting all the achievements for me. Out of the 15 I got last night I only got 4 of them myself.

How/ The gameplay and graphics are way beyond NCAA. This game is actually pretty decent.


Start a franchise and do a full league draft. That is what i like to do.

Passing is crisp. Running is hard but you have to follow your holes.


What i want to know is when they will offer a complet roster update.
