I think the media started calling him SpaceDobbs which is one of my least favorite. Of course my suggestions have been not very popular, lol.


In looking for space terms with Dobbs I did find there is a telescope named the Dobsonian. I chuckled when I read it's considered a light bucket.

Dobsonians are intended to be what is commonly called a "light bucket"[3] operating at low magnification

Has Dobbs ever said he wanted to be an astronaut? I mean who wouldn't? But I have only heard him say he wants to design airplanes and maybe fly them but more as a hobby. Just wondering
