Right or wrong I am at the point of taking a step back from things and taking a look at the whole picture from outside of the echo chamber of this thread. While I appreciate all of the information a lot of you guys bring and don't doubt that you are sincere in your motives, it's getting tough to have faith in it without any clear cut action from the AD side of things. I have read all of the reasons presented here as to why this is but I still cannot convince myself 100% that the theory is a sound one.

Maybe it's from suffering for over a decade of watching our program making the worst possible choices every time all the time. Maybe it's my own fault for buying in so hard back '12 to the point of telling my real life friends who don't do message boards that Gruden was going to be our coach. I had these people believing only to have them look at me like I was a liar when the Jones hire was made. For me, there's just too much similarity to the last time this go around. A lot of desperate wishful thinking to the point people are willing to buy into random new posters dropping cryptic messages then following them like a god.

I am not trying to sway anyone's belief or criticize any information being brought here. I'm just explaining my stance. Like I said before, I've heard enough of the Grumors and speculation from the insiders. It's time to see results and action from the other side and until that occurs, I will have my doubts.

I understand your skepticism on Gruden. Once bitten twice shy comes to mind, but Butch is gone. I'm 100% confident in that.

I wouldn’t trade it for nothing. They’ll all fish with me, watch some football, etc. There’s nothing like your little girl (no matter how big they are) wrapping their arms around you. My middle one is sick, gotta skip church and go get her medicine at 10 when the pharmacy opens), and she curled up on my lap last night after they got back from the ER. I sat in my recliner and rocked us both to sleep, girls just get your heart.

Jones is not coming back and that should be obvious for 2 big reasons. He uses twitter and a recruiting tool and hasn't since the 10th of October, and they aren't recruiting nor having official visits. He isn't coming back. No coach goes about that this way. NO WAY! SOON!

Daughter and son-in-law are an MD and PhD in engineering. They have a Schedule for the grandson.

He has his own schedule, which he likes to change frequently.

Guess who wins? :p

Wow I just had my 3rd son on Monday, Gunnar. Wife still insists on trying for girls, i dont know if its going to happen. Mine are 4, 2 and 6 days we have our hands full.

I agree about no Tweets/Retweets since October 10. I think that makes it extremely difficult to believe anything outside of his knowing his fate since that time.

I'd agree 100%. I can't see an AD that refuses to cut this cancer out having enough game to bring Gruden on campus.

I think Butch resigns/gets fired today, maybe tomorrow. Now that there is a signature on paper, the dam will begin to break. Currie has to make the announcement before the whole world knows. I don't see how the announcement could happen before Tuesday though due to MNF.

At the game last night my 3 year old asked me about 75 times, "when will they fire Butch Jones?" I think she thought that's what we were going to see.

While watching the fans watching the salute to the Hill last night, I found it really cool. These are people showing up even when we are a dumpster fire. And they have no idea what is about to happen. Kind of like being the only one to know that an earthquake is about to hit, but if you ran around telling people they wouldn't believe you anyway.

I have no idea the timeline, but one would think Gruden would want to get started as soon as possible so as to begin to try and salvage this recruiting class before the Dec signing period.
