Here's a question I haven't seen and don't berate me if I have missed it in the 27 threads.

Maybe the Haslam's are trying to block Gruden in-order to get him into Cleveland?

They have a ton of top draft picks over the next couple years, rumor they are trying to get Peyton in the front office, etc. Poster on VQ stated his family is from Cleveland and he has "connections" up there and a lot of talk about getting a Gruden/Peyton deal.

Just tossing it out there for discussion

The poster on TOS that claimed he has a friend that's a D1 Coach that he says has been been contacted about going Gruden's staff. Many have guessed it was Jay Graham. Someone started a thread that basically wanted by moron that believed Gruden was coming to make a record of it. He said he did. A couple of posters really went after him as a troll. He told them that to PM him for a friendly wager. One guy said he didn't need a PM and he'd put $1000 that he wasn't coming. The guy took the bet. It's happening.

I think someone on here mentioned PM going to Browns as part of a deal to get the Haslams to pay the buy out if I remember correctly

Peyton would be wise to avoid this franchise like the plague.

JAV outright said that everyone on the UT side was rowing in the same direction and that the ball was in Gruden's court. Pretty much what LWS referred to when he said it was the bride who kept saying no. I haven't believed before or now that Haslam is blocking anything or attempting to. Gruden will say yes or no to our great offer. All we can do is hope it MGCA. #MakeGrudenCoachAgain

I agree. It all just boils down to whether he wants to coach college football or not. No other obstacles.

I'm 18 beers deep into my current **** storm. Legit pretty drunk. I'm watching two videos at once, kinda. Here is first video. Its Gruden and Debord sitting down watching film and talking football. I feel quite bad that I posted a few times how Debord sucked. He absolutely didnt suck. Looking back, he seems like an OC that wasnt perfect but He was consitent by averages but quite often called an offensive game plan that beat the **** out of the dumb stuff our HC would do. Man.... Josh Dobbs seriously was one of the finest QBs we ever had. Imagine Josh Dobbs if he had a few seasons with Fulmer as his coach or Cutcliff as his QB coach. Or you could delete that and imagine Dobbs with one legit season with Kiffin as his head coach

could totally see Haslams do something to get gruden to say no... dunno why, maybe that's not fair but they have helped make a lot of bad decisions around here

I personally know the owner of the Ridgewood and Mr. Proffiit is one of the best people you will ever meet. I have nothing but respect for that family. What he did for our baseball team is something I will never forget.

FWIW, the trophy has sat in that spot under the stairs for at least a few years. It just wasn’t covered by the fake bricks and trash cliches. You still see it every time you come off the practice field and out of the weight room.

Finally caught up and looks like everyone’s already gone to bed or passed out! 😵

Needs to be like it was. And we need to add another one to sit beside it.

Edit: The picture is sideways. Sorry, I don't know why they upload that way. Anyways, you can clearly see it was in the middle of the room and shown off with pride. I think Butch was just intimidated by it since he knew he'd never get one.

That’s awesome!! Do you know when this picture was taken? I’ve been around the complex since Butch’s first year and never recall seeing it like that.
