It was definitely disappointing.

I still remember after someone called Butch Dooley 2.0 and a poster corrected him saying, "usually 2.0 denotes that a major improvement was made. He should technically be called be Dooley 1.1" lol

I was convinced we had looked at Bama and figured it out... hire a few coaches that don't work out, hire one mediocre coach to stabilize/clean up the program... say screw it, and hire a big name coach.

Just hoping that's what has happened here, finally. We just took an extra coach to figure it out.

IMO, this is NOTHING like 2012. 2012 marked the beginning of the “Pissed Off for Greatness” campaign launched by Ergen. This feels different, calculated and precise.

I'll never forget watching Butch step off the plane. And how uncomfortable his wife looked.

I've said since early on that Butch looks uncomfortable in this role. Thus the reason for over-stating accomplishments, etc. It was met on here with typical responses which is ironic given the situation now.
