You can tell Swain is a rookie journalist/radio host. When he was interviewed yesterday by the 3HL, he didn’t know how to answer the grumor question. He stuttered and finally said he’d believe it when he sees it but if it does happen??? He’d tweet at Nick Saban and tell him his reign is over... lol. Like others, I’m just curious to know WHAThe knows.

Even with no Gruden, if we can make a great hire I will be happy. There are a few candidates out there that fit that.

I agree. Gruden is tops for me, but there are a few other avenues that would give hope as well.

Currie does NOT want Gruden... imho, it is the Boosters, we will see who win... the Boosters won when it was J Majors... but time will tell

PS/ I have NEVER said that Gruden was a DONE deal but just the opposite

that's interesting... it's going to be very hard if it's currie v/s all the others though

it may not be a done deal but i can get where he felt that way based on what UT could get from the Ergen side that would benefit the academic side

Exactly Boca! So much BS has been swallowed by so many and produced by so few over the whole Gruden thing for years now. Failure after failure after failure of the producers of the bull gets glossed over with nebulous stories of this one or that just jumped in the way of the deal yada yada yada. Here it is folks, if you still somehow are bought into the Gruden to be UT HC you are in the category of a LOOOOOOOOOON.

The last few days the previous players were calling Currie out from every direction saying do the right thing and hyping Gruden.

This morning it seems like they made their case at last nights meeting.

Currie will be the hero when all is said and done, in the media.
I'm just curious how Haslam handles it.
